Q: Check the desta service running and desta/isee configurations

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator> cd C:\Program Files\HP\CM\RemoteSupport\bin OR
C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\RemoteSupport\bin>

C:\Program Files\HP\CM\RemoteSupport\bin> iseeInterfaces -send_support_information – test_event
E6028470-53ED-4C5E-9698-06FA88BB4F77
C:\Program Files\HP\CM\RemoteSupport\bin>

If the Client test succeeds then you should get a test incident raised & the HEX number generated as shown above is the ID of the event. Please capture the HEX ID.
If the Client test fails then you should just get the prompt back with NO HEX number or incident generated.

In either case, generate the log information using this command:
C:\Program Files\HP\CM\RemoteSupport\bin> desta sysinfo

This should create a zip file with all the necessary info in it & the process will output a message stating where the zip file is stored (usually in C:\Temp\Tools_Check)

Q: What to do if Webes End-to-End detection fails?

Stop and restart Desta_service. If this problem persists then run “desta sysinfo” on the command line and give the generated Zip file to HP Customer Support.

4E9E4DDE-F006-452E-8849-C9E2687B0711

(above hex output indicates successful registration)
